Training Expectations:
1. Please RSVP; this allows for the club to
plan attendance, birds, equipment, help, and travel to the training
locations.
2. Training dates and locations are subject to change
and/or cancellation.
3. There is a minimum # required to attend to hold trainings
4. There are fees associated with training. The clubs ask
for your support in helping them pay for their liability insurance.
For NAVHDA the fee is $20.00/per person
***If you are a club member the fee is waived.
5. Additional Fees include the cost of birds. Bird prices range
from $4.00/pigeon to ~$15.00/pheasant. It is expected dog owners
will pay for any birds lost or shot during the course
of training their dog.
6. To attend trainings you should have an AKC or NAVHDA recognized
pointing breed dog.
7. Please bring food and water for yourself and pooch.
Directions to Scotty Henry's:
From Interstate 15 (approximately 12 miles south of Shelby)-
Take the 345 exit and turn east onto the "Ledger Rd" aka the "Tiber Dam Road". Travel just over 16 miles east and turn left (north) on the "Fowler Rd." Travel almost one mile (9/10) and turn right (east) into Scotty's driveway.

Shoco Ranch training site is located 3.5 miles South of
Augusta on highway 435, turn right on to Smith Creek Road go 1.5 miles turn
right at steel gate follow trail 1 mile to parking. We will have signs out.
